Is Showcio free?
Yes — Showcio is completely free to use. You can browse shows, discover content, and use core features without paying anything. Creating a free account unlocks watchlists, reminders, ratings, and sync across devices.
Do I need an account to use Showcio?
No account is needed to browse and discover shows. However, to save shows to your watchlist, set episode reminders, rate content, and track your watch progress, you will need a free account.
How do episode reminders work?
Once you create an account and add a show to your watchlist or calendar, Showcio automatically tracks upcoming episode release dates using our advanced scheduling engine. You'll receive in-app notifications and can opt into browser push alerts to get notified the exact minute a new episode drops worldwide.
How are schedules sourced and timezone conversion handled?
We aggregate air dates and episode schedules directly from official metadata providers like TVDB and TMDB. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. Streaming availability is provided by JustWatch. Because international dramas release across different global timezones, Showcio automatically detects your local timezone and converts all release times. If a K-Drama airs at 9 PM KST, your calendar will accurately reflect the equivalent time where you live.
Which shows are supported?
Showcio covers a wide range of content including K-Dramas (Korean), C-Dramas (Chinese), J-Dramas (Japanese), Thai dramas, Turkish series, Indian shows, and popular international TV series and movies. We're continuously expanding our library.
Can I import my existing watchlist?
Currently Showcio does not support automated import from other platforms. However, searching and adding shows is fast — most users can rebuild their watchlist in just a few minutes using our powerful search.
Is there a mobile app?
Showcio is a fully responsive web app that works great on any mobile browser. A native app is on our roadmap. For now, you can add Showcio to your home screen on iOS and Android for an app-like experience.
How do Collections and Playlists work?
Showcio has two types of collections: curated editorial lists made by our team (browsable at /lists), and personal custom watchlists you can create from your profile. You can add any show to a custom list and optionally make it public.
How do I delete my account?
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data by visiting the Delete Account page (linked in the footer). Account deletion is immediate and irreversible.
Is my data private?
Yes. Showcio does not sell your personal data. Your profile is private by default — you control whether your watchlist and activity is visible to others. Read our Privacy Policy for full details.
